Project Overview
ParkEasy is a smart parking mobile application developed for Beirut Municipality to solve the city chronic parking shortage. The app combines IoT sensor data, computer vision, and real-time navigation to help drivers find available parking spots instantly.
The Challenge
Beirut drivers spend an average of 20 minutes searching for parking, contributing to traffic congestion and carbon emissions. The municipality needed a tech-driven solution that could work with existing infrastructure.
Our Solution
We deployed IoT parking sensors across 5,000+ spots in central Beirut, connected to a cloud backend on AWS. The React Native mobile app shows real-time availability, provides navigation to open spots, and handles digital payments.
